The Flat Top Ned Head - Collar is built with a flat-top head that allows the bait to stand upright on the bottom, creating a natural finesse presentation that consistently attracts bass. The wire bait keeper securely grips your soft plastic, helping it stay in place longer so you can spend more time fishing and less time readjusting. This versatile head design pairs well with a wide range of Ned-style soft baits, making it a reliable choice for any finesse setup. The Flat Top Ned Head automatically comes with a wire keeper slot. The Flat Top Ned Head can be shot with or without the keepers as there is minimal clean up when not using wire keepers. However, you can also use the 2/0 hooks with welded on keepers if you select that option. The Fiber Guard option uses 1/8". 1/8oz and 3/32oz cannot be offered with a Wire Weed Guard as it is just too small.

Our molds are made to fit a variety of hooks, please write the information of the hooks you will be using in the order comments.

Mold Size: 3" x 9" (including handles)

Cavity Count: 7 and 14 Cavities

Handles are included to hold the mold closed while pouring.

3/16 collared, fiber weed gaurd ned mold

Posted by Shane McNamar on Sep 19th 2025

Only one complaint is that the mold doesn't close flush. I have to clamp it to get it to close completely. Outside of that, love the mold so far. I will be buying more. Hi Shane, Please make sure you are using the right sized hooks! Please feel free to reach out to discuss.

    Ned Jig WithCollar

Posted by Susan Moss on Apr 18th 2025

I have been eyeing this jig for a while, and finally went for it. Really interesting design, accepts a bunch of different hooks, And the collar allows use of a skirt which can add a lot of movement and enticement to a Ned rig.
