Shad Dart

These are great molds, I have 2 of the 1/64oz and also in the 1/32oz. I use #6 Mustad hooks in the 1x & 2x round bend. The 2x due to the thicker wire seemed to have an issue with the molds closing all the way for a tight fit, but the 1x wire shot good. Wish the handle on the molds were longer but for the most part their machined well. Just be sure to get the hooks into the hook slot as they can be tricky. I would also add, use all the same size hooks in the mold, I tried 2X roundbend and 1x Sickle hooks in the same mold and couldn't get the mold to clamp together, regardless jighead size.

I bought a pair of these and have cast 3000 heads in each. It is well worth the money to get pro quality from a company that gets it right! Fantastic molds.
